FULL-TIME POSITION AVAILABLE – EXPERIENCED NURSERY ASSISTANT (Preston)

Do you love supporting children to explore, discover, and learn through play? Are you an experienced early childhood educator who enjoys working in a collaborative environment?

We are seeking an experienced Nursery Assistant (Diploma Educator) to join our Pascoe Vale team on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an educator who is confident supporting a junior classroom, working alongside teachers to deliver high-quality, inquiry-based learning experiences, and building meaningful relationships with children and families.

Please note: This role requires flexibility with rostered hours. You must be willing to be signed on as a Responsible Person once trained and confident within our service.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting the delivery of our junior program
  • Assisting with planning and implementing learning experiences
  • Supporting children’s social, emotional, and developmental learning
  • Building positive relationships with children, families, and team members
  • Supporting daily routines and transitions
  • Supporting leadership responsibilities once trained as Responsible Person

What We’re Looking For

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working toward)
  • Experience supporting infants and toddlers
  • Strong understanding of EYLF and NQS standards
  • Passion for inquiry-based and play-based learning
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
