Channel Manager
Our You Tube team is growing, and we are on the lookout for You Tube experts across all seniorities.
As a Channel Manager, you'll be responsible for building, publishing and optimising video performance across our channels.
This role sits at the intersection of content strategy, platform performance and video monetisation.
- Audience Expertise - Become the internal expert on the channel's audience and competitive category.
Monitor what is performing in the space, surface trends, and share findings with the team.
- Data and Reporting - Analyse and monitor You Tube channel performance.
Identify what is working and what needs changing.
You'll regularly report insights and recommendations back to the wider team.
- Commercial Awareness - Bring a commercial mindset towards You Tube - including but not limited to Ad Sense, sponsorship and integrated work.
- Cross-functional work - Work closely with editorial, production and social teams to shape and activate a clear You Tube strategy.
This includes identifying formats, trends, hooks and storytelling approaches that drive repeat viewership, retention and monetisable scale.
- Prior experience managing and scaling high-performing You Tube channels, with a strong focus on the You Tube platform.
- A deep understanding and a genuine passion for You Tube, including what drives performance, monetisation and algorithms.
- Experience using data to inform content decisions, with the ability to translate analytics into actionable strategy.
- Commercial mindset, with experience optimising content for platform revenue as well as reach.
- An entrepreneurial, test-and-learn mentality, with a desire to build, iterate and improve systems and processes.
