Your role

CORE OWNERSHIPS

Reporting into Financial Operations Manager & working alongside the whole finance team, specifically the Finance Ops AP exec

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Daily management of Accounts Receivables mailbox
  • Monthly client statements
  • Client bill processing including internal billing approval and generation of client bills within agreed deadlines
  • Proactive credit control processes to ensure timely client receipts
  • Allocation of all cash receipts daily
  • Client bill query management
  • Unbilled review throughout the month, focusing specifically on diarised billing due date
  • General AP understanding including but not restricted to:
    • Capture, upload and matching supplier invoices to purchase orders
    • Purchase Order matching, leading to purchase payments
    • Preparation of supplier payments & online bank file preparation
    • Supplier invoice & order query management
    • Effective cash payment best practice procedures within agreed deadlines
    • Credit card review, allocation & reconciliation
    • Support Finance & Agency teams with financial requests, training or order workflow matters
Skills and experience
  • Previous experience within an AR role for at least 1 year
  • Knowledge of fundamental accounting practices
  • Degree or alternative Higher Education qualifications
  • Basic to Intermediate Excel skills and general tech savviness with systems
