itsu [grocery], which this role falls under, takes the itsu brand into supermarkets, health food stores, online, wholesale and internationally with products such as crispy seaweed thins, frozen gyoza & bao, brilliant broth, rice noodles & miso easy to name a few.

The role

We are treasure hunting for a creative communicator to challenge the status quo and bring itsu to life on TikTok. Reporting to the Social Media Manager, the TikTok Content Creator is ultimately responsible for creating content and engaging with our online community. The TikTok Content Creator will need to be ambitious, confident and innovative as they carve out itsu’s distinct voice, working with agencies, content creators and influencers. This is a Group role, supporting both itsu [grocery] and itsu [retail restaurants].

Responsibilities:

  • Create content through voiceovers, images and video (in front of, or behind the camera).
  • Work alongside our social team to develop TikTok strategy and deliver weekly content plan.
  • Storyboard, film and edit – or direct – social content for TikTok, with support from the Social Media Manager.
  • Present at monthly group social meetings including reporting on growth and content insights.
  • Keep on top of social algorithms and trends.
  • Identify, onboard & maintain relationships with content creators, as required.
  • Work with international teams on TikTok activity outside the UK.
