Role Responsibilities

  • Partner with and build strong working relationships with the Heads of Brand and Buying Director to develop and communicate a compelling creative strategy and vision for each Brand.
  • Inspire others across the Brands and wider business with engaging activations and a clear strategic direction.
  • Present creative concepts and strategies at Board meetings to the senior leadership team, gaining buy-in and feedback.
  • Oversee from concept to execution all creative campaigns, photoshoots, video content, and digital assets, ensuring brand consistency, integrity and high quality across all of the Brands.
  • Ensure that each Brand’s identity is used to create standout content which can be used across all touch points e.g. NEXT website, Zalando, social media platforms to encourage the customer to buy.
  • Drive the creation of highly engaging content specifically designed to enhance the customer experience on the NEXT website, including product photography, editorial shoots, lifestyle imagery, video content.
  • Act as the ultimate guardian of the brand’s visual identity, ensuring all creative output adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent aesthetic across all touchpoints.
  • Lead, develop and inspire a talented in-house creative team (including art-directors, photographers, videographers, production, graphic designers).
  • Review the organisation structures to ensure that the right team and skills are in place to deliver the brands direction and changes in consumer wants and habits.
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing and PR teams to ensure creative content effectively showcases products, drives conversions and tells compelling brand stories.
  • Work with Finance to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to deliver projects on schedule and within financial parameters.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to continually innovate creative output and maintain a cutting edge.
