About the Role
We're hiring a Principal Safety Architect to join our Systems Engineering team based in London.
What You'll Do
- Lead top-level hazard analysis for bipedal humanoid systems in home environments.
- Map ISO/UL compliance requirements and maintain the system safety concept.
- Establish gating criteria for safety milestones.
- Oversee safety requirements cascade across perception, control, and hardware.
- Coordinate the safety certification pathway with notified bodies.
- Integrate safety considerations into simulation, hardware, and control subsystems.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years in robotics or safety-critical systems.
- Proven track record in functional safety (e.g. IEC 61508, ISO 13849, ISO 13482).
- Experience leading cross-disciplinary technical teams.
- Strong systems engineering background.
- Prior experience with safety case development and certification processes.
