Here at Humanoid, we believe in a future where robots amplify human potential. That’s why we’ve set out on a mission to build the world’s most capable, commercially‑scalable, and safe humanoid robots. We’re bringing that mission to life with HMND‑01 Alpha - our rapidly developed humanoid platform now running in real industrial pilots - and we’re growing the team to take it even further.
As Data & Integrations Architect, you will define and govern how data is structured, integrated, and managed across Humanoid, with an initial focus on ERP and a broader remit spanning PLM / Engineering systems, analytics, and operational systems.
The primary purpose of the role is to establish robust data architecture, integration patterns, and governance discipline that support:
- Reliable transactional processing
- Consistent, reliable reporting and analytics
- Clear system-of-record boundaries
- Scalable integration across the enterprise
In addition, you will ensure these architectural choices enable future AI‑driven use cases without requiring fundamental rework. Data should be clean, structured, well‑governed, and accessible so that advanced analytics and AI agents can be layered on when required.
This role sits within the IT organisation and you will act as the design authority for data and integration architecture across the enterprise, setting standards, principles, and patterns. Strong hands‑on experience, pragmatic judgement, and delivery focus are required.
The Data & Integrations Architect operates across ERP, PLM / Engineering systems, analytics, and operational systems, ensuring that data and integrations are coherent, controlled, and fit for purpose.
You will work closely with:
- ERP Programme Manager, to align data and integration architecture with delivery sequencing and dependencies
- ERP Functional Lead, who owns business meaning and process / ERP semantics
- Engineering and PLM leadership, who retain ownership of engineering data domains
- Operational teams, to ensure data and integrations support real execution needs
The role is expected to evolve as the organisation grows and a broader Data & Analytics leadership capability is introduced, without pre‑committing to a future organisational structure.
What You’ll Do
Data Architecture & Governance
- Define the enterprise data architecture across ERP, PLM / Engineering systems, analytics, and operational systems.
- Establish clear principles for:
- System of record
- Data ownership and stewardship
- Master data vs transactional data
- Operational vs historical data
Integration Architecture & Design Authority
- Define and own integration architecture standards and patterns across the enterprise.
- Act as design authority for:
- ERP‑centric integrations
- ERP–PLM integrations
- Integrations between operational systems, analytics platforms, and external services
ERP‑Centric Data & Integration Design
- Own architectural decisions related to ERP data and integrations, including:
- Master data propagation
- Transactional data flows
- Event‑driven vs batch integration approaches
PLM & Engineering System Integration
- Define architectural patterns for ERP–PLM integration.
- Clarify system‑of‑record boundaries between business and engineering data.
- Ensure BOM, part, revision, and change data can be consumed outside PLM where required.
- Provide architectural oversight without owning engineering data itself.
Analytics & Decision Support Enablement
- Ensure data structures and integrations support reporting, analytics, and operational decision‑making.
- Define how analytical datasets are derived from operational systems.
- Avoid fragmented reporting architectures by enforcing consistent patterns.
AI‑Enablement by Design
- Ensure data and integrations are structured, governed, and exposed in a way that makes them directly usable by AI models and agents as required.
- Avoid architectural choices that would block or significantly delay AI‑driven automation or decision support.
- Support AI‑enablement as a downstream capability, not a bolt‑on fix.
Delivery Partnership
- Engage pragmatically with delivery teams and third parties to unblock progress while maintaining architectural integrity.
- Work closely with the ERP Programme Manager to align architecture with delivery timelines.
- Provide architectural direction early enough to avoid rework.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Data Architect, Integration Architect, or equivalent, with real delivery accountability.
- Strong experience working with ERP‑centric data and integration landscapes.
- Solid understanding of:
- Data modelling and data flows
- Integration patterns (APIs, events, batch, asynchronous messaging)
- System‑of‑record and ownership design
Nice to Have
- Experience operating in scale‑up or transformation environments.
- Exposure to manufacturing, engineering, or product‑led organisations.
- Experience working across ERP and PLM / Engineering systems data domains.
- Familiarity with modern cloud‑based data and integration platforms.
What We Offer
Meaningful time off to rest and recharge: 23 days of annual leave (accrued), separate sick leave, and paid.
