Our client is seeking an experienced Painter Decorator to join their established Works team, maintaining and enhancing a unique estate that combines historic architecture with modern facilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their work, takes pride in exceptional craftsmanship, and wants to develop their skills working across both heritage and contemporary buildings.
You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality painting and decorating work across a diverse range of projects, including restoration of historic buildings and refurbishment of modern spaces. Your duties will include:
- Surface preparation including sanding, filling, cleaning and priming.
- Applying a wide range of paints, varnishes, specialist coatings and decorative finishes.
- Internal and external decorating to an exceptional standard.
- Wallpapering and specialist wall coverings.
- Carrying out sympathetic restoration work using traditional materials and techniques where appropriate.
