What You’ll Be Doing

As a Maths or ICT Teacher in an SEN school, you will:

  • Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of KS2 pupils (and occasionally Year 8)
  • Teach either Maths or ICT as your specialist subject
  • Apply effective behaviour management strategies in a SEND context
  • Follow established school routines and individual pupil support plans
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and support teams
  • Provide feedback to support pupil progress and attainment

Who You Are

We are seeking candidates who:

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification
  • Have experience teaching Maths or ICT at primary or KS3 level
  • Are confident working in SEN / Additional Needs settings
  • Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Have an up-to-date DBS (or are willing to apply)

Experience with SEN support plans, differentiated learning, or alternative communication strategies is highly desirable.
