An excellent opportunity has arisen for a driven and commercially astute Civil Litigation Solicitor to join a growing and dynamic legal practice. This role offers exposure to a broad range of disputes and the autonomy to manage your own caseload while contributing to the continued success of a high-performing litigation team.
You will act for a diverse client base across a wide spectrum of civil disputes, making this an ideal position for a solicitor seeking variety, responsibility, and long-term career progression.
Key Objectives- Deliver high-quality fee-earning work and contribute to departmental profitability
- Provide strategic, commercially focused advice to clients
- Support the ongoing growth and success of the litigation function
- Manage a varied caseload of civil litigation matters from inception to resolution
- Handle disputes including:
- Commercial and contractual disputes
- Landlord and tenant (commercial and residential) matters
- Building and construction disputes
- Debt recovery matters
- General civil litigation, including a small proportion of personal injury cases
- Pleadings and statements of case
- Witness statements
- Schedules of loss
- Court applications and supporting documents
- Advocacy experience
- Exposure to contentious probate matters
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 2+ years’ PQE in Civil Litigation
- Strong technical knowledge of litigation procedures and the Civil Procedure Rules
- Proven ability to manage a caseload independently
- Experience handling a broad range of disputes
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Strong client management and communication abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems

- Manages WIP, cash flow, and risk effectively
