The Governors of this friendly and successful school invite applications for the position of After School Club Assistant.
Contract/Hours: 3.30pm-6pm, term time only, casual, paid on a sessional basis. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday. One or two afternoons a week considered.
We are seeking to appoint a flexible, enthusiastic Assistant to join our friendly team of hard working After School Club staff, providing high quality care and supervision of children after school hours. The candidate must be a minimum of 18 years old.
- Enjoys working with children as part of a staff team
- Is a flexible and proactive team player
- Has confidence in supervising children
- Shows awareness of safeguarding, child protection and confidentiality procedures
- Forms good working relationships with children, staff and parents
- Is positive, calm and can use their initiative
- Is actively committed to the aims and ethos of our Catholic Christian school
Ideally you will:
- Have previous experience of working with 4-11 year olds
- Have previous experience of, or an interest in pursuing, a career in childcare/education
- A current food hygiene certificate (training will be given if needed)
- A current Paediatric First Aid certificate (training will be given if needed)
