Midday Supervisory Assistant (1:1 Support)
About the Role
As a Midday Supervisory Assistant, you will play an important role in ensuring the pupil has a safe, positive and enjoyable lunchtime experience. You will support the child during mealtimes, encourage positive behaviour and social interaction, and help create a calm and inclusive environment where they can thrive.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working with children, has a patient and nurturing approach, and is passionate about supporting pupils' wellbeing and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the pupil with meals and lunchtime routines.
- Respond appropriately to minor incidents and report any concerns in line with school procedures.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Enjoys working with children and supporting their development.
- Has previous experience working with children (desirable but not essential).
- Has experience of supporting children with additional needs or SEND (desirable).
- Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is reliable, flexible and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Has a positive attitude towards working within a school environment.
