This is an exciting opportunity to join The Hamble School. Our vision ‘We Care, We Aim High, We Learn and Achieve Together’ encapsulates the work we do every day. We currently have 1,090 students and were graded as ‘Good’ in all areas by Ofsted in March 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, organise and maintain materials and equipment for classroom use.
- Support teaching and learning across the Art and Technology departments.
- Set up classrooms and prepare equipment and materials for lessons.
- Order and maintain resources and support the teaching and learning needs of the department.
- Work with students on practical projects and perform machine demonstrations as requested by teaching staff.
- Undertake health and safety responsibilities associated with the role.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Good standard of education, GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English at Grade C or above.
- Experience and understanding of a school setting would be advantageous but not essential.
- Professional, confident, resilient, calm, considered and proactive manner when working with a variety of stakeholders.
