Lymington CE Infant School is looking for a positive and passionate adult who genuinely loves working with children. Hours are 8:15am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday (28.75 hours per week), during term time. This is a fixed term contract for one year, with potential to extend hours by delivering some of our before and after school club care if interested.
Qualifications and Skills
- GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4+ or equivalent)
- Current experience of working in Early Years or KS1
- A passion for working with children and helping them develop
- Ability to support the class teacher in the delivery of learning activities for individuals and groups of children
- Relevant experience of working with pupils with additional needs and delivering interventions
- Excellent interpersonal skills, a good sense of humour and a team‑player attitude
- The ability to be flexible, resourceful and proactive
- Understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding procedures
- Understanding of our Christian ethos underpinned by our core values of love, courage and respect to improve outcomes for all children
