We are seeking a highly skilled Learning Support Assistant to join our passionate and supportive team. This post is offered initially as a one-year fixed-term contract, with the potential for the role to become permanent, subject to the needs of the school.

  • Experience of working with young children in a primary setting
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE B grade or above) and relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Childcare or Supporting Teaching and Learning
  • Experience of supporting pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND)
  • Ability to build positive relationships with children and an understanding of how children learn and develop
  • A warm, positive and caring personality
  • Ability to work flexibly as part of a team or independently, and to take initiative
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to learn and seek professional development
