We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and reflective Special Needs/Learning Support Assistant who is able to work in either Early Years or KS1. Ideally, we are looking for someone who understands the importance of learning through play but can also support groups or individuals in their more formal learning. You would also have the pleasure of supporting children in phonics and other individual interventions to support their progress. No day is ever the same!

Key Responsibilities:
- Support a child with medical needs.
- Support key safeguarding procedures.
- Work in partnership with the class teacher to support children’s learning and development.
- Work 1-2-1 with children or small groups with SEN needs and Looked After children.
- Support individual children and small groups to help them achieve their full potential.
- Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and positive classroom environment.
- Contribute to ongoing assessment and feedback on pupil progress.
- Participate in relevant professional development opportunities to enhance your skills.
- Where needed, supervise children in the dining hall, playground, field or classrooms at lunchtime and lead positive play.
- Administer basic first aid.
