Job Introduction:

Cover Supervisor Permanent, Full Time - 37 hours per week Term-time only plus one week (40 weeks)

Grade D, Actual Salary: £24,371 to £26,814 p.a. Full Time Equivalent Salary: £27,780 to £30,564 p.a.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes during staff absence.
  • Assist departments with all aspects of pupil progress.
  • Support planning and help pupils develop personal and communication skills.
  • Encourage good pupil behaviour and work.
  • Maintain safeguarding responsibilities and adhere to the school’s safeguarding policy.
  • Work effectively in whole class situations and in small group settings.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Educated to GCSE Level 4 (or above) or equivalent work experience.
  • Capability to maintain high professional standards and place the child at the centre of all work.
