The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

Responsible for the servicing and response maintenance of NIHE and Private properties, in various areas including Derry, Limavady, Causeway and Coleraine areas.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 7.30am – 5pm. On Call Rota. Flexibility is required.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Gas/Oil Maintenance repairs and breakdown repairs
  • Annual Gas/Oil Services in NIHE properties and Private properties
  • Inspections and safety checks on Gas boilers
  • Safety checks and services on Oil appliances

The role is not limited to this job description and the post holder will be required to carry out other duties at the request of Management. Flexibility to cover other office locations may be required.

Essential Criteria:

  • Time served or Qualified Plumber
  • Experience in servicing domestic gas systems
  • Experience in fault finding on domestic central heating systems and boilers
  • Full Driving License
  • Available to carry out call outs (on a rotational basis)

Desirable Criteria:

  • Either be Gas Safe registered or be OFTEC qualified
  • Valid CSR Card

  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to use own initiative
