We are currently recruiting for a Sales Executive on behalf of our client, a growing and innovative business operating within a technical manufacturing environment. This role would suit an individual who is highly motivated by sales, enjoys building long-term customer relationships, and thrives on developing new business opportunities.\\n\\nAutomotive experience is advantageous but not essential – we are keen to speak with candidates who demonstrate a strong passion for sales, commercial awareness, and customer engagement.\\n________________________________________\\nThe Role\\nReporting to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for driving the sales of company products, identifying new market opportunities, and nurturing strong customer relationships to support long-term business growth.\\n________________________________________\\nKey Responsibilities\\n* Research and investigate target markets aligned to company products\\n* Identify new business opportunities and support senior management with market and product development insights\\n* Proactively pursue agreed sales objectives and growth targets\\n* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and secure future business\\n* Work closely with Key Account Managers to develop and convert sales opportunities\\n* Act as a commercial link between customers and internal teams\\n* Support internal departments with sales-related activity, including project costing and commercial input\\n* Liaise with Programme Management to monitor project costs and design changes\\n* Respond to general sales and commercial enquiries\\n________________________________________\\nAbout You\\n* Proven experience in a sales or commercial role (engineering, manufacturing, or technical environments beneficial)\\n* Automotive industry experience preferred but not essential\\n* Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills\\n* Passionate about sales and driven to exceed targets\\n* Commercially aware with a structured, methodical approach to work\\n* Confident using Microsoft Word and Excel\\n* Willing to travel overseas as required\\n* Foreign language skills are advantageous (French preferred but not essential)\\n________________________________________\\nWhat's on Offer\\n* Opportunity to join a forward-thinking and growing organisation\\n* A role with genuine scope for career development\\n* Competitive salary and benefits package\\n* Exposure to international customers and projects
