We are expanding our team by appointing an excellent Senior Science Technician to deliver an efficient and effective technician support service in the Science Faculty. The role adds value, facilitates the achievement of educational objectives, and supports a safe and stimulating educational environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to the Science Faculty, ensuring equipment is maintained and available.
- Assist in the planning and execution of science lessons and laboratory activities.
- Ensure safety procedures and health & safety standards are followed in all science-related work.
- Support teachers in implementing curriculum objectives and innovative teaching strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, repairs and stock levels.
Qualifications
- Relevant technical or vocational qualification in a science or engineering discipline.
- Experience delivering technical support services within an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and a positive role model for pupils.
