As an Upper KS2 teacher, you will deliver high‑quality teaching in an Upper Key Stage 2 class, enabling pupils to achieve high standards and make strong progress. You will also contribute to whole‑school improvement, particularly in mathematics, by developing leadership capacity through working alongside the Senior Leadership Team.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons for Upper KS2 pupils.
  • Support pupils to reach high academic standards and progress in their learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching and learning across the school.
  • Contribute to whole‑school improvement, especially in mathematics.
  • Develop leadership capacity by working alongside the Senior Leadership Team.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required.
  • Experience teaching KS2 is desirable.
  • Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Willingness to undertake enhanced DBS and social media checks.
