You'll be joining a niche and supportive Workforce Planning Team that resource plan and real time manage the attendance of home-based medical appointments for a patient network spanning the UK. You’ll own the planning process within an assigned geographic region ensuring the appropriately skilled medical professionals are hitting a critical SLA of patient appointments. You’ll mitigate and solve any on the day ‘real time’ issues to ensure the delivery of exemplary patient care, developing effective relationships with your bank of medical professionals, and ensuring on the day attendance to the home-based appointments is consistently achieved.
This opportunity would suit a Resource Planner or experienced Real Time professional with energy, first class communication, the ability to multi-task and effectively prioritise tasks, along with well-developed problem solving skills and the ability to work at pace when required to mitigate service level challenges.
What You’ll Do- Coordinate and optimised resource plans to ensure the right skills are in the right place at the right time to meet patient appointment demand.
- Manage real-time ‘on the day’ changes and challenges with confidence, speed, and attention to detail.
- Keep planning systems accurate and up to date.
- Spot trends and risks to improve future planning and be comfortable analysing performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Liaise and collaborate with a broad mix of internal and external stakeholders to ensure “attendance to appointment” targets are achieved consistently.
- Experience within workforce planning or resource planning (contact centre / field planning / transport planning).
- Strong knowledge and abilities protecting ‘on the day’ service level targets in ‘real time’ live and change orientated environments.
- Ability to juggle priorities and deliver under pressure when required.
- Great communication skills to build trust and relationships.
- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Competent working with data and systems proficient (quick to learn – quick to apply knowledge).
- Enthused, positive and team orientated approach to achieving personal and team goals.
