Are you a data-driven leader who thrives on turning complex information into meaningful insight? My client is seeking an experienced MI Manager to join their team in a fully remote capacity. This is a high-impact role where you’ll play a pivotal part in shaping strategic decisions at senior level and driving a culture of data-led performance.
Job Summary
As MI Manager, you will lead the delivery of high-quality management information and reporting across the business. Working with large volumes of raw data, you will transform complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. This role requires a confident communicator who can operate effectively within senior leadership meetings, providing clarity, challenge, and direction through data-led storytelling.
Your Role
In this position, you will take ownership of the organisation’s MI function, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and governance of data across multiple sources. You will design, develop, and enhance reporting frameworks using Power BI and advanced Excel, creating dashboards and reports that provide meaningful performance insight. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, you will present findings in leadership forums, influencing business strategy and driving continuous improvement. You will also champion strong data management practices, embedding robust controls and governance standards to ensure consistency, compliance, and reliability in all reporting outputs.
About You
You are a confident and credible leader with the ability to engage and influence at senior level. Highly analytical, you are comfortable working with large, complex datasets and have advanced technical expertise in Power BI and Excel. You understand the importance of strong data governance and bring a disciplined approach to data management and controls. With excellent communication skills, you can translate technical detail into clear commercial insight, ensuring stakeholders at all levels understand and act upon the information provided.
- Proven experience in an MI, BI, or data-focused leadership role
- Advanced Power BI skills, including dashboard development and data modelling
