We are looking for a Mandarin-speaking KAM Hunter to accelerate TheFork’s growth within the Asian restaurant segment, with a strong focus on the Chinese restaurant market across key UK areas. This is a target-driven new business role, focused on acquiring high-potential independent restaurants, groups, and strategic accounts in the Chinese sector. You will take full ownership of your territory, build a strong self-generated pipeline, and lead negotiations end to end within one of the UK’s most dynamic and influential hospitality communities. This is a field-based role (approx. 70% of your time).

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Prospecting and acquiring new restaurants, with a strong focus on Chinese and wider Asian restaurants in key UK locations
  • Generating your own pipeline through cold calls, walk‑ins, referrals, networking, and local market mapping
  • Conducting in-person meetings and product demos to present TheFork’s B2C and B2B value proposition
  • Managing your own pipeline from first contact to negotiation and closing
  • Adapting your schedule to restaurant availability, including occasional evening meetings
  • Sharing market insights with the wider sales team to improve our approach to the Asian restaurant segment

What success looks like:

First 60 days
  • Quick ramp up on the sales pitch and product knowledge (both B2C and B2B)
  • Create a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Demonstrate consistent daily activity across calls, visits, meetings, and follow-ups
  • Close your first 10+ deals independently
After the first 60 days
  • Reach full productivity on quarterly acquisition targets
  • Manage your territory independently and proactively
  • Consistently generate new business through your own pipeline
  • Deliver strong weekly activity levels, including around 10 meetings per week and 30+ new opportunities created monthly
  • Become a key internal reference point for the Chinese and wider Asian restaurant segment in your territory

Who you are:

You must meet these essential qualifications:

  • Fluent in Mandarin and English - both spoken and written
  • 4+ years of experience in sales, ideally in B2B, field sales, hospitality tech, food service, or restaurant-related environments
  • Proven ability to prospect, manage a pipeline, negotiate, and close deals independently
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively
  • Resilience, with a positive and proactive attitude towards working in a target-driven environment
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced setting

You can impress us with:

  • Previous experience selling to Asian‑owned businesses
  • A strong local network within the Chinese or wider Asian hospitality community
  • A genuine passion for hospitality, with an interest in digital products and technology
  • Energy, consistency, and determination when facing challenges or rejection
  • A competitive mindset and ambition to exceed targets
  • Genuine passion for restaurants, food culture, and hospitality
  • Interest in digital products, restaurant technology, and marketplace platforms
  • Confidence using digital tools, including Google Workspace; CRM experience is a plus

What we offer you:

  • Competitive fixed salary and uncapped commission
  • Lunch vouchers available 3 working days per week (delivered to the office only)
