The purpose of therole, we are seeking an exceptional and highly skilledfreelance bar manager to oversee the delivery and executionof our events in multiple sites across London. The successfulcandidate will have at least one years’ experience in amanagement role within the hospitality and bar management. Asa freelance bar manager, you will be responsible for asuccessful delivery of our client’s events, including clientliaison and team management. Experience in front of housemanagement is essential, along with a strong eye for detailand consistent presentation. Your performance within thecompany will be monitored by regular manager audits, meetingagreed event timeframes, achieving excellent guestsatisfaction/feedback and employee quality and retention throughpositive onsite interaction.
Key Responsibilities
As Bar Supervisor, you'll need to carry out some or all the followingduties, depending on the size and type of event you willeither assist with or run:
- Maintain anefficient bar and stock room
- Supervise barstaff with the ability to motivate your team
- Responsible forsafe and secure handling of bar stocks, till operation and cash
- Ensure strictcompliance with the venues Responsible Service of Alcohol Policy
- Place stock orders
- Interact withcustomers (including serving food and drink) and ensurethat high standards of customer service are maintained
- make sure youcomply with health and safety regulations at all times
- Till andcounter service
- Supportinghospitality services and events
- Maintaining ahigh standard of cleanliness and hygiene in your area of concern
- Maintaining foodsafety and health and safety to meet legal and company requirements
- Hazard anddefect reporting
- Able to leadand train the staff with a positive “can do” attitude
- Ability tomultitask and work in a busy, fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Excellentcommunication, influencing and interpersonal skills with aconfident and outgoing personality and an ability tointeract with people at all levels
