About Us
The Finance Family is a Directly Authorised (DA) mortgage and protection brokerage serving clients nationwide. We have recently partnered with several estate agencies, prompting us to grow our team to accommodate increased demand.
The Role
In the role of a Self-Employed Mortgage & Protection Advisor, you will engage with a steady stream of warm leads from one of our trusted estate agencies, which seeks a dependable advisor to collaborate with their sales teams. You will work from the office a few times a week, but outside of that, you have the freedom to work remotely at your convenience. This position offers the independence of self-employment with the benefits of DA-level flexibility, tailored support, and a partner agency providing consistent quality leads.
Why Being Directly Authorised Matters for You
- Increased Autonomy & Flexibility
- No restrictive network rules, product limitations, or insurance panel constraints
- Ability to offer quicker, more tailored advice without unnecessary red tape
- Higher Competitive Earnings (DA structures generally lead to better commission splits, fewer fees, and more income retained by you)
- Enhanced Adviser Support (compliance support is direct and responsive—not filtered through a large network; our DA status allows us to create support systems focused on advisor success)
Our Self-Employed Proposition
- Leading Industry Support
- Comprehensive administrative support (we handle lender follow-ups, client updates, document uploads, and life insurance applications)
- More time for client consultations and business growth
- CPD monitoring, training & ongoing support
- Social media and marketing assistance
- Access to the Whole-of-Market for Mortgages, Life Assurance, and Income Protection
- FCA fees covered
- Professional Indemnity Insurance covered
- Help with finding introducers & establishing agreements
- Potential to advance into Pension & Investment Advice
- Company leads and introducers available as needed
- Access to office space & meeting rooms
Who We’re Looking For
- Confidence and expertise in mortgage & protection advice
- A motivated, proactive advisor who excels in a self-employed setting
- Strong relationship-building skills, particularly with estate agents and introducers
- Able to manage your own business pipeline & schedule
Why Join Us Now?
With several new estate agency partnerships in place, there’s a significant rise in client demand. Joining us now offers a high-opportunity environment, supported by a Directly Authorised firm dedicated to advisor success and independence.
