The award-winning Fife Arms Hotel, recently named Aberdeen City & Shire Hospitality Employer of the Year, awarded 2 Michelin Keys, and voted Number 1 Hotel in the UK by Condé Nast Readers, is looking for a talented Pastry Chef de Partie to join our friendly team on a maternity cover contract.
The Role
Working alongside our Pastry Head Chef, you’ll help deliver exceptional desserts, cakes, pastries, and other sweet and savoury creations across the hotel – from Afternoon Tea and Dinner in the Clunie Dining Room to the Flying Stag Pub and our elegant event spaces. Using the very best seasonal and local ingredients, you’ll play a key part in ensuring every guest experience is unforgettable.
As Pastry Chef de Partie, you’ll be responsible for:
- Supporting the smooth, safe, and efficient running of the pastry section
- Preparing creative sweet and savoury treats to the highest standard
- Maintaining the exceptional quality expected of a luxury hotel
- Assisting with other sections when required
- Ensuring cleanliness, organisation, and stock control in the pastry kitchen
- Continuously striving for excellence and improvement
About You

- Proven experience in a similar role within luxury hospitality
- A true passion for pastry, from classic desserts to inventive creations
