The Fife Arms Hotel—located in the heart of Braemar and the Cairngorms National Park—is delighted to be recruiting a talented and passionate Pastry Chef de Partie to join our award‑winning culinary team. We welcome guests from around the world and from our local community, offering them the very best of locally sourced, seasonal Scottish produce.

About the Role

Led by our Head Pastry Chef Craig Jacobs, as a Pastry Chef de Partie, you will play a key role in supporting the pastry team with the preparation of desserts, cakes and pastries, as well as other sweet and savoury treats for both the Clunie Dining Room (Afternoon Tea and Dinner) and Flying Stag Pub, as well as event spaces, using the very best of local and national natural resources and ingredients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the day‑to‑day operation of your allocated section under the guidance of our Head Pastry Chef
  • Ensuring all dishes meet the exceptional standards expected at The Fife Arms
  • Maintaining high levels of consistency, quality, and organisation
  • Providing feedback to the Head Pastry Chef and Executive Chef when relevant
  • Assisting other sections as needed to support the wider brigade
  • Upholding excellent hygiene, stock control, and food safety standards

You will work alongside a passionate, creative, and supportive team dedicated to exceptional food, warm hospitality, and continued learning.
