The award-winning Fife Arms Hotel, located in the picturesque village of Braemar, is seeking a Front Office Porter to join our team for the summer season. This is a guest-facing role where you’ll play a vital part in delivering exceptional service and creating memorable first impressions. As a Porter, you’ll ensure every guest feels welcomed, cared for, and supported throughout their stay.
The Role
- Delivering a warm and professional welcome from check‑in to check‑out
- Assisting guests with luggage and escorting them from the entrance to Reception
- Safely transporting luggage to guest rooms and designated areas
- Responding to guest requests promptly, efficiently, and with care
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and welcoming hotel entrance and car park
Who We’re Looking For
No experience? No problem. If you bring enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for hospitality, we’ll provide the training. We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Previous experience in a similar or luxury hotel role (advantageous but not essential)
- Excellent organisational and time‑management skills

- Knowledge of local attractions and amenities (or a willingness to learn)
