WANTED - Part Time, Live In Family Groom - Hertfordshire
We are looking for someone who is hardworking & reliable, friendly and fun with a can‑do attitude, experienced & confident around horses, and passionate about horses and their well‑being.
Accommodation is provided in a brand‑new self‑contained annex (furnished), overlooking a wild swimming pond. All bills and internet are included. Lovely hacking from the door, use of arena with lights.
Duties: 20 hours per week.
- Two family ponies and two retired equines, all living out 24/7.
- Feeding, haying, sweeping, grooming, tack cleaning, poo picking, mucking out (field shelter only), ridden & non‑ridden exercising.
- Supervising our girls riding (aged 11 and 12, both competent riders).
Three days per week includes walking family dogs and driving to and from school.
Optional extra paid work with us available (babysitting, cleaning and gardening).
The role would suit someone studying or seeking additional part‑time work locally. Please give me a call to discuss further.
