We are looking for an organised and detail orientated individual to join the team at Malet Lambert as a Senior Administration Officer.
Duties:
- Oversee, co‑coordinate, monitor and supervise the daily work of the School Administration Officers and Receptionist to ensure the smooth running of the administration and reception services.
- Provide specific administrative support to the Deputy Headteacher and Assistant Headteachers.
- Cover for the PA as and when required.
- Oversee and manage the reprographics environment ensuring the administration team are producing high quality documents, in a cost effective and timely manner.
- Manage the Work Experience Programme.
- Manage the immunisation arrangements in the school.
- Manage the lettings facilities of the school.
- Manage the School Trip (Evolve) arrangements for the school.
- Manage the banking/petty cash procedures of the school.
Remuneration and Working Hours:
The working hours are up to 37 hours per week from 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8:30 to 4:00pm Friday all year round. Salary is £27,254 per annum, paid in 12 equal instalments over the year.

Qualifications:
- GCSE/CSE in English and Maths, grade C or above (or equivalent business qualification).
- Strong IT skills and a good working knowledge of computer software packages including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Substantial experience of working in an office environment in an administrative role.
- Experience of working semi‑autonomously with little supervision.
- Experience of report writing and data analysis.
- Experience of supervising staff.
