The predicted salary is between 12149 - 12149 Β£ per year.
The pastoral team at Malet Lambert are looking for two experienced, dedicated and enthusiastic Pastoral Support Officers (maternity cover until July 2026). The Pastoral Support Officer will provide support and supervision of pupils with Emotional, Behavioural Learning Difficulties where identified as a need, with a specific focus on a pupil premium cohort. They will work with line managers and the pastoral team to implement and supervise individualised work programmes for vulnerable pupils and pupils showing challenging behaviour.
One post's working hours are from 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Tuesday and 8:00am to 12:30pm Wednesday. The other post will be 12:30pm to 4:00pm Wednesday and 8:00am to 4:00pm Thursday to Friday during the school term. You will also be paid for an additional 26 hours per year, which enables you to attend team meetings and training and development outside of your normal working hours. Your actual salary will be Β£12,149.41 per annum, and this is paid in 12 equal instalments over the year.

What are we looking for?
We are looking for an individual with experience of working with children with ESBD (Emotional, Challenging and Behavioural difficulties), GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent), grade C and a recognised appropriate qualification at diploma level or above and a good level of IT skills.
