Finance Assistant (Shared Services)

Are you detail-driven, customer-focused, and looking to start a career pathway in Finance? We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our shared services team, who will be responsible for providing efficient and effective financial administration support for TEAL schools. The role will be based at our Teacher Development Centre in Melton, near Brough in the East Riding of Yorkshire; however, you may be required to travel to other sites to provide support as required. This is a permanent position working up to 37 hours per week, year-round. The actual annual salary upon appointment with TEAL will be £25,989 (based on a full-time equivalent).

What are we looking for? We are looking for an organised and proactive individual with a high level of attention to detail. You will have:

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Confidence using IT systems and managing accurate records.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team, managing competing priorities.
• Experience in a similar role is desirable as is prior experience of the education sector, but these are not essential requirements, as training will be provided.
