The role could be an excellent opportunity for those who are aspiring to train to teach in the future or for those who are looking to work within the education sector without the additional planning and marking that comes with teaching. What does the role involve?

We are looking for an individual who has a good standard of education (a qualification in numeracy and literacy is preferred) as you will be working with classes of students to complete the work set by the teacher. Previous experience of working with young people is desirable, along with the ability to complete administrative duties such as recording attendance and communicating with colleagues across the school.

The working hours are from 08:25am to 15:30pm Monday to Friday during the school term. You will also be paid for an additional 31.25 hours per year, to attend team meetings and training and development outside your normal working hours. Your actual salary will be starting from £20,248.13 per annum, and this will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year so even when it is the summer holidays, you continue to receive the same payment that month. If you are interested in working on a part time basis, please get in touch and we will be happy to explore this further with you.

What can we offer you?

  • Ethical leadership, professional trust and autonomy and a caring ethos in which everyone is valued and respected.
  • Family friendly policies, including sector leading Maternity, Adoption and Neonatal care pay offers.
