We are looking for a diligent and enthusiastic individual to join the team at Malet Lambert as an Art Technician on a casual basis. The successful applicant will work under the day‑to‑day supervision of the Art Department to assist teachers in the preparation of materials for lessons. The working hours will be ad‑hoc to meet the needs of the school and will always be agreed in advance and around any other work or educational commitments you may have. The hourly rate applicable to this post is £12.85.
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers with the preparation of materials for lessons.
- Carry out administration tasks such as stock control and photocopying.
- Support in an Art and Design context and work with young people.
Qualifications and Experience
- Has a good standard of education including literacy and numeracy at level 2 or above (or equivalent).
- Previous/demonstrable/substantial experience of working in a similar role.
- Previous experience of working in an Art and Design context.
- Previous experience of working with young people.
