We are partnering with a well-established, internationally recognised renewable energy company to recruit a Renewable Energy Data Engineer to support data-driven decision-making across large-scale offshore wind projects. This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of data, sustainability, and large infrastructure, turning complex datasets into actionable insights that directly support business growth and the energy transition.
The Role
As Renewable Energy Data Engineer, you will take ownership of the end-to-end data lifecycle, from ingestion to insight, working closely with technical and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines
- Database structures and data models
- Integrate and manage multiple data sources within a cloud-based environment
- Develop and maintain structured data tables to support analytics and reporting
- Support dashboarding and reporting requirements for internal stakeholders
- Collaborate cross-functionally and take ownership of key data initiatives
- Ensure data quality, scalability, and performance across platforms
Technical Requirements
- Strong, hands-on experience with Databricks
- Microsoft Azure Cloud Storage
- Proven experience building dashboards using Power BI
- Advanced Python skills for data engineering and automation
- Solid experience designing and managing ELT workflows
- Comfortable working in a hybrid model based in central London
