Alitex Ltd, established in 1952, is a family business specialising in designing and manufacturing aluminium glasshouses. The small team consists of administrators who enable the coordination of all key aspects of the business.
The candidate will be primarily working alongside the sales team and the project leaders, ensuring our gate-keeper role is pro-active, organised and efficient, providing an effortless transition from the point of the customer receiving their proposal and placing their order all the way through their live project.
Amongst other activities, the candidate will be working to populate the workflow management system ensuring activities, tasks and documentation are accurate, up to date, in the right place and easily accessible from initial proposal and order through to project closure. You will process new customer orders including project set-up and raising purchase orders. Engage in sales team support tasks, including preparing and processing proposals, reviewing and updating sales pipelines, booking travel, and updating customer communications.
You will be involved in the Projects team support tasks, such as processing add-on and credit orders, sending out project information packs, and issuing warranty certificates. The candidate will support wider business projects and other departments as required. Research, prepare, and submit householder and listed planning applications on behalf of the customer – for which training will be provided.
We are looking for someone who has experience from previous administration or co-ordination roles. Is computer/tech confident and competent in using MS packages including SharePoint and Teams. Experience using CRM or ERP systems would be beneficial. You enjoy the challenge of systems and processes and are an excellent communicator – both written and verbal. You are positive, driven and curious with a mindset towards collaboration and teamwork, and you have a proactive, efficient and organised yet flexible approach to managing your own time and a busy and varied workload.
- Salary: £25,000 per annum depending on experience
- Position: Full-time, Permanent
- Pay: £25,000.00 per year
- Location: Alitex Ltd, Torberry Farm, Petersfield GU31. Rural location with limited access to public transport. Option to work remotely up to 2 days a week on completion of a probationary period.
