The assistant store manager is responsible for assisting in day-to-day operations of the store, including scheduling, training, and supervising employees. The assistant manager is responsible for assisting in the store’s profits and all controllable expenses, including labor, inventory levels, and cash and inventory shortages. The assistant store manager is responsible for maintaining proper food safety, sanitation, and quality.
