A UI-UX Team Leader, who will work with developers, analysts and testers, to create and enhance the design of our portfolio of applications, communications and prototyping. Business Systems Solutions is an exciting function set up to support the growth of our Business. The department supports many areas of the Business including HR, ERP, Fraud and Risk, Customer Due Diligence, Responsible Gambling, Technology and Customer Service. You will utilise various technologies to provide custom built solutions or implement third party products and services to support processes, which in turn will drive effectiveness, efficiency, scalability and sustainability.

Your team will create innovative UI and UX for our varied portfolio of bespoke applications. You will also be responsible for contributing to the future direction of our products and portfolio, via prototyping the design of the UI and UX, ensuring that new practises are considered as they become available.

Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience
  • Commercial experience involving leading a team of UI and UX developers.
  • Commercial experience in developing HTML5 and CSS 3 Applications.
  • Good understanding of SASS, LESS, REACT, Typescript, Adobe XD and other similar UI prototyping tools.
  • Experience with CSS animations and transitions.
  • Understanding of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Experience with mobile first responsive design.
  • Exposure and consideration for UX.
  • Passionate about software development and technology.
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Main Responsibilities
  • Leading a team of UI and UX developers.
  • Delivering front-end code with a focus on quality, efficiency and speed to market.
  • Supporting Product Owners as required.
  • Ensuring the UI, UX and brand of our applications, including messaging, content and the branding of communications remain consistent.
  • Supporting and enhancing the existing UI and UX code base.
  • Working individually and as part of a team in a collaborative approach to produce high quality UI and UX.
  • Making the best use of technology and learning new skills as required.
  • Creating work effort estimates as required and supporting all phases of projects.
