We are currently expanding our specialist tax teams and seeking to recruit a Tax Disputes and Resolutions Director into our national team. This role involves working with businesses, individuals, and HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) to resolve tax disputes and enquiries. The successful candidate will leverage their technical expertise and experience to achieve successful outcomes in client interactions with HMRC.
This opportunity includes:
- Leading the national team and developing relationships with a portfolio of clients, acting as the main point of contact.
- Delivering high-quality Tax Dispute Resolution services to clients, in collaboration with colleagues and other service lines.
- Working closely with colleagues to deliver solutions while adhering to Forvis Mazars' quality standards.
- Engaging in external business development activities and internal networking with partners.
- Mentoring junior staff and contributing to their professional development.
The ideal candidate will have:
- ACA/ACCA/CTA qualification or equivalent.
- Experience operating at a senior manager level or above.
- Familiarity with liaising with HMRC and excellent communication skills.
- Experience managing client relationships and leading a busy team.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to networking both externally and internally.
