This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing media brand establishing itself as the go-to publication for the UK's thriving tech industry. As a senior reporter, you will be writing news, analysis, and conducting interviews to keep our audience of entrepreneurs, investors, and stakeholders informed.
We are looking for someone with a strong track record of reporting on the business technology beat and who can bring fresh ideas to the UKTN brand. This role is suited for someone with at least three years of experience in a reporting role. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a keen understanding of the UK tech sector, polished writing skills, and a keen eye for a good story. Experience moderating panels is a plus.
Key Responsibilities- Writing daily news
- Writing weekly features and interviews
- Pitching off-diary exclusives and investigations
- Attending industry events and building up a contact book of sources
- Supporting the UKTN editorial team where required, such as proofreading
- Contributing ideas to improve the UKTN editorial brand
