Responsibilities:
- Coordinate farriery training across Brooke’s programmes and work closely with colleagues in our country offices to develop training plans that support the objectives of our global farriery programme.
- Collaborate with expert Farriery Consultants to shape and deliver training plans, ensuring recommendations are embedded through shared learning across countries and communicated to those who will benefit most.
- Expand resources, knowledge and learning using innovative, accessible approaches that reflect the needs of diverse audiences, including those with limited literacy and resources.
- Shape future direction and innovation in farriery, strengthening supply chains, promoting business and enterprise skills, and contributing to discussions on legislation, standards and policy frameworks relevant to the sector.
Qualifications:
- Fully qualified UK Farrier.
- Additional qualifications in animal behaviour or adult education (advantage).
- Cultural awareness and ability to adapt your approach to support effective training, collaboration and understanding.
- Comfortable travelling to low‑resource settings and working independently.
