Special Needs Professionals (Teaching Assistants) required for the Bridge School - Primary & Secondary Site.
Salary Grade: NJC Scale 3 – 4 (SCP 5-11)
Actual Starting Salary: £24,244.56 - £26,415.47 per annum pro rata
32.5 hours per week: Monday – Friday term time only
Flexible working arrangements will be considered (we want the best staff!)

We are a PBS school - Our staff have developed some fantastic practices and we are continually striving to further develop the learning opportunities we provide for our pupils. Pupils in The Bridge School have severe learning difficulties and many have autism. Every child and young person is an individual and we work hard to tailor our curriculum to meet their needs.
We are recruiting for Teaching Assistants to:
- Engage in interventions both in and out of lessons to foster effective participation of students in the social, behaviour and academic processes of the school.
- Work with the team to implement behaviour management strategies and develop relationships with students who may be vulnerable and have complex needs.
- Liaise with other agencies to ensure that student needs are fully met.
- Support the teacher in the delivery of engaging and successful lessons.
