Teaching Assistants (Special Needs Professionals)

The Bridge Integrated Learning Space – part of The Bridge Trust. Salary Grade: Starting at NJC Scale 3 – 4. Actual pro rata starting salary: £25,022.13 (32.5hpw) or £15,398.23 (20phw) per annum pro rata. 32.5 hours per week Monday – Friday (Full Time) or 20 hours per week (Part-Time). You will be required to work until 4:30pm on set days in order to undertake training.

Our Story

The Bridge Trust is a unique Multi Academy Trust which consists of five special schools, two mainstream schools, a Training & Development Service and an Outreach Service. The Bridge Integrated Learning Space (ILS) is a free school opened in January 2015. We cater for a small group of pupils with unique profiles who require a completely individualised curriculum offer. We have an amazing multi-disciplinary staff team who have developed some fantastic practices in working with our young people and their families. We are continually striving to further develop the integrated offer to achieve even greater outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Support the children’s day to day learning, care and development.
  • Support with assessment, recording and reporting on achievement, behaviour for learning, progress and development.
  • Work closely with the teacher and support staff within the class team, in line with The Bridge Trust policies and guidance.
