Join us at The BoTree as we launch an exciting new model of Conscious Luxury where wellbeing, culture and community sit at the heart of a world-class hotel experience. The BoTree Wellness Club will be a social wellness private members club blending wellbeing, culture and meaningful connection within a luxury hotel setting. As we prepare for launch, we are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our pre-opening team and support the delivery of a vibrant, wellbeing-focused food experience within this unique environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality, wellbeing-focused dishes
- Leading kitchen service and maintaining excellent culinary standards
- Supporting menu development aligned with the club’s wellbeing philosophy
- Managing kitchen preparation, service flow and food quality
- Coaching, mentoring and developing junior kitchen team members
- Ensuring food safety, hygiene and kitchen compliance standards are upheld
- Working closely with the Restaurant Manager and front-of-house team to deliver seamless member experiences
About You
- You are a passionate and organised chef who thrives in premium restaurant, hotel or private members’ club environments and enjoys creating thoughtful dishes that contribute to a holistic wellbeing experience.
- 3–5 years experience in a high-quality restaurant, hotel or members club kitchen
- Previous experience as Junior Sous Chef or Sous Chef
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- A passion for high-quality ingredients and thoughtful, balanced cuisine
- Interest in wellbeing, nutrition and mindful hospitality
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Experience in pre-opening or new concept environments is an advantage
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends in line with member events
