The BoTree Wellness Club is a social wellness private members club, blending wellbeing, culture and meaningful connection within a luxury hotel setting. As we prepare for launch, we are seeking an experienced Membership Manager to join our pre-opening team. This is not a traditional hotel sales role. It is a commercially accountable membership position responsible for building, curating and retaining a high quality founding member base.
Reporting to the Director of Membership, you will play a central role in shaping the club’s founding membership strategy while delivering against clear commercial and engagement targets.
The Role
- You will own the full membership lifecycle from first enquiry through to long term retention, ensuring every interaction reflects the brand and delivers a highly personalised experience.
- Building and managing a targeted membership pipeline through proactive outreach, referrals and curated activations.
- Delivering against defined monthly sales, conversion and retention targets.
- Leading private previews, tours and hosted experiences for prospective members.
- Managing the onboarding journey from application to induction, ensuring a seamless and personal introduction into the club.
- Monitoring engagement levels, renewal cycles and retention performance, with clear reporting and insight.
- Driving both wellness engagement and social connection within the membership base.
- Contributing to the curation of a balanced, high quality founding membership mix.
- Supporting the design of membership structures, pricing tiers, policies and CRM processes during pre-opening.
- Maintaining strong daily visibility within member spaces, acting as a trusted and recognisable presence.
- Collaborating with Wellness, F&B and Marketing teams to drive engagement initiatives.
- Accurately logging and analysing activity within CRM systems, providing clear reporting and insight to inform strategy.
- Operating with autonomy in a fast paced pre-opening environment and contributing strategically to membership growth plans.
About You
You are a relationship led operator with strong commercial discipline and a genuine understanding of premium membership models. You are confident managing targets while delivering a highly personalised, brand led experience.
We are looking for:
- 3–5 years’ experience within a private members club, premium fitness club, wellness club or subscription based membership model.
- Demonstrable experience managing a full membership pipeline from enquiry through to onboarding and renewal.
- Experience owning renewal cycles, retention strategy and member lifecycle management.
- Strong commercial accountability with the ability to track conversion, churn and engagement metrics.
- Experience using membership CRM systems, with PeopleVine experience highly desirable.
- Excellent data discipline and reporting capability.
- Experience supporting pre-opening or launch environments preferred.
- A passion for social wellness, connection and building curated communities.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends in line with member events.
- Experience within a premium private members club or lifestyle brand would be highly advantageous.
What We Offer
- 28 days holiday including bank holidays, rising with service.
- An additional day off on your birthday.
- Complimentary anniversary stay including dinner and breakfast.
- Hilton Go Travel Programme for team members and family and friends.
- Meals provided while on duty.
- Cycle to work scheme.
- Employee assistance and financial wellbeing programmes.
- Two paid community days per year.
- Recommend a friend bonus scheme.
This is an opportunity to join at founding stage and help shape a new model of social wellness membership where luxury meets purpose and belonging sits at the centre of the experience.
