Role & Responsibilities:
- Conduct structured fact-finding and discovery across business and technical teams
- Capture requirements from technical stakeholders and translate into clear documentation
- Produce structured outputs including: Process documentation, Requirements artefacts, Supporting analysis
- Analyse current processes and identify areas for improvement
- Support data and AI-related initiatives by translating technical discussions into clear business requirements and process definitions
- Facilitate discussions between business and technical stakeholders
- Ensure clarity and alignment on requirements across delivery teams
- Support the overall delivery by ensuring requirements are well understood and actionable
Overview:
We are seeking a strong Business Analyst to support a technology programme involving AI and data-driven initiatives. This is not a pure documentation role, and it is not a project management or architecture position. We need someone who can work closely with technical teams, ask the right questions, and translate complex discussions into clear, structured outputs that support delivery. The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded BA with experience in data or AI environments; someone who is comfortable engaging in technical conversations, without needing to be a deep technical specialist. You will operate in a data-driven environment, working closely with technical teams to translate data and AI discussions into clear business and process outcomes.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst in technology-driven environments
- Proven experience working on data-driven and/or AI-related projects
- Ability to confidently engage in discussions involving AI, data, and modern technologies
- Strong fact-finding and requirement elicitation skills
- Ability to capture input from technical stakeholders and translate into: Process documentation, Structured requirement
- Experience producing high-quality BA artefacts (e.g. requirements, process flows, documentation)
- Strong stakeholder engagement across technical and business teams
- Exposure to application orchestration or system integration concepts
- Familiarity with AI-driven initiatives or automation projects
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, or Lucidchart
- Understanding of data flows, APIs, or system interactions (conceptual level)
