Applications are invited for the post of Catering Assistant to work within our fantastic Bistro team. The successful candidate will have previous experience in the catering industry, ideally in both cooking and customer service. They must have the ability to work as part of a team and alone, a willingness to learn and a flexible approach to working hours. The successful applicant will be trained to work with our existing staff, to prepare, and serve fresh meals and waiting on customers providing excellent customer service. You will be required to maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and bistro to our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Being part of a team that run a kitchen and front of house service
  • Preparation of food in a safe and timely manner
  • Waiting on customers, taking orders and taking payments
  • Adhere to cleaning practices
  • Reporting required repairs and replacements
  • Reporting low stock and health and safety issues
