Welsh Language Trainee Director – Pinocchio
Closing date for submissions: Mon 3 Aug. Meetings with shortlisted candidates: Mon 10 Aug. Contract: Fixed Term. Salary: £3000.
The Trainee Director will assist direct our Christmas Show in 2026 for ages 3–6 with a view to direct that show in the future.
The show will be a new version of Pinocchio by Jennifer Lunn, directed by Elan Isaac.
It will be performed in Welsh and English at separate performances.
The production schedule is as follows
• Rehearsals begin
12 Oct
• Tech week at Sherman Theatre
w/c 2 Nov
• First previews
• Tour of South Wales (no overnights)
• First performance back at Sherman Theatre
23 Nov
• Guest performances at Sherman Theatre
28 Nov
• Final performances at Sherman Theatre
