Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate domestic and international talent across first team, academy and development squads.
- Lead live and video‑based scouting processes to assess player performance, potential, character and tactical fit.
- Build and manage shortlists aligned with positional needs and squad planning.
- Ensure scouting reports are consistent, detailed and actionable.
- Maintain a centralised recruitment database.
- Collaborate with the Head of Women’s Football, Head Coach and technical staff on squad planning and recruitment strategies.
- Support short, medium and long‑term recruitment strategies and succession planning.
- Monitor contract statuses, age profiles, market trends and transfer‑market dynamics.
- Develop relationships with agents, clubs and intermediaries, and track market trends, valuations and emerging leagues.
- Prepare and support negotiations with player insight and market intelligence.
- Ensure recruitment activity complies with league regulations and club policies.
- Support due diligence processes including medical, character and background checks.
- Manage recruitment timelines, reporting structures and potential loan and dual‑registration agreements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in Women’s football with a strong understanding of the ecosystem.
- Recruitment and/or loan management experience.
- Competence in using Wyscout, Hudl or other analytic systems.
- Valid UK driving licence.
- UEFA B or higher coaching qualification.
- Experience working within a club structure at the elite or professional level.
Additional Requirements
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
- Will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
- Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of children and young people.
